Burlington, Alamance County: Alamance mommies

A lot of resources like daycare can be found through the local mommy group: alamancemommies.com. It is an excellent source of information (good pediatricians, dentists, you name it).  Some of the mommies on there keep kids part-time.

    I couldn't find any info on this site about pediatricians or daycare. It looks like more of a social thing than an information thing.

    It largely a social network, but if you go to the business reviews forum there are a lot of links there:
    OB/GYNs you love... and hate
    Pediatricians you love... and hate
    Mechanics you love... and hate
    Photographers you love... and hate

    Those are the permanent ones and there are always current discussions. One current one is on vets. I've found it a great source of information. The daycare discussion has come up a few times.

    Many of the moms who own their own business list it under the Networking Mommies forum. Some of this is only accessible to members, but I'm not sure what since I am a member.
